The Honey Barn

Newton, Ks is a small town approximately 25 miles north of Wichita. It is right off of the highway and has lodging, restaurants, and anything else you could need, and if it doesn't have it, well, Wichita is just a short drive away. And nestled on the outskirts of Newton, is a cute, budget friendly barn that is perfect for your country wedding. The Honey Barn.

It doesn't show a lot of details, but this is the part of the building you see as you come up the drive and with the direct sun creating a soft haze, I thought it gave the venue a mystical touch. And put the bride and groom in front, in focus, not in the haze,  would make a beautiful photo. 

The outside of the barn. To the right is the cocktail area, with the spools as tables. Yard games are included in the rental if you want to use them. 

The inside of this beautiful barn. The wagon wheel lights with the bistro lights and greenery really makes it magical when the lights are dim. And all of the windows are closed in the moment but can all be opened as well as the barn doors. The barn can accommodate 200. It does not have heating or AC, only fans. It does not have a kitchen, but does have a regular size fridge, freezer, and cooler in the bar area.

This is the outdoor ceremony space, there are 3 arch choices that can be provided by the venue. Remember it is November, so it will be a lot greener at different times of the year. There are 3 different arches that can be provided by the venue, and they have 80 acres of field, trees, and ponds for wonderful photos. 

The bar area in the barn. It is quite large and has the fridge, freezer, and cooler. Not to mention its adorable. The owners are also very attentive, quick to respond, and easy to work with. And as always, remember I am not a photographer, I'm not good with photos.
