Silver Lake, KS
Silver Lake, Ks is a small town with a population of approximately 1300 residents located along the Kansas river. And in this small town is Blacksmith Event Centre, an event space for any occasion. This venue is perfect for micro weddings (75 guests or less), receptions, birthday parties, wedding showers, baby showers, or any other gatherings you can imagine. And what makes this small town event venue even better? The fact that it is a very short drive from Topeka and all the amenities it has to offer.
This is a photo of the stone wall. When renovating the space (this has been a blacksmith shop, a post office, and so much more!) They found items like screws and bottles and put these findings amongst the stone, making for cool easter eggs in the venue.
This is the space from the front door. It fits 70-75 comfortably, but can accommodate 90 standing. It has bathrooms, and the door to the right is a kitchen. You are able to bring your own food or have a caterer. Alcohol, however must be purchased and served by the venue. Table and chairs are included in the rental.
This is a photo from the back of the venue. The stone walls, metal and wood tables, wood floors, and more give it an industrial look that is unique to the area. To the left is the bar, that was created from this buildings and Topeka's past (ask the owner! It's a great tale!) and a beautiful piece.

The bar area. The venue is able to customize your bar package to fit your budget and your unique style. Custom cocktails and gun names are what they are all about. Or if you just prefer beer and wine, they can do that too! This venue works with you to make your event just what you imagine, and the owner is quick to respond and easy to work with!
