Keystone G Ranch

Burns, Ks

Down a dirt road in the small town of Burns, Ks. is an up and coming event venue called Keystone G Ranch. Keystone is a working farm that was established in 1888 by a german immigrant started out as a sheep ranch, later turning into a cattle farm. The barn onsite (currently being renovated) is one of the original buildings built in 1888. There is also the original homestead, the bunk house and the main house that was built in the early 1900s. If you're into country rustic with rich history, this is definitely the place for you.

This is the side of the main house. Currently being renovated and hopefully will be available for use in the summer, it is a very unique home with an octagon tower for a 360 view of the flint hills and pastures surrounding. The trees around and 2 story front porch with towering columns would make a beautiful background for an outdoor wedding.

The limestone barn built in 1888. This barn also makes for a picturesque background for an outdoor wedding, and once fully renovated with make an incredible indoor reception area.

Inside of the barn. Open space with an upstairs and down and original wood flooring. There are many windows to offer plenty of natural light for photos. Table and chairs are/will be included with your rental.

Another photo inside the barn. There are plenty of tables to be used for gifts, desserts, seating etc. and the old window is decor the owner visualized and created. Simple and elegant.

This is outside on the property. The rock wall is the original fence from 1888 for the farm. The pastures are lovely and there is plenty of space for your outdoor ceremony.

This small building was the original homestead from my understanding. They are starting with the main house but in the future all buildings will be renovated and in use.

The trees near the front of the main house. Great for taking couple photos and/or having a ceremony. One thing I love about Kansas is the unobstructed view of the sky.

As always, please keep in mind I am NOT a photographer and my skills in taking the most simple photo is often the joke at dinner. And these were taken in early February when there is not much greenery. The trees in the photo will bloom white flowers in May and I imagine will be very lovely.
